You asked—Basement Beacon now supports Alexa + Home Assistant

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

One of the most common requests I’ve received from many of you has been Home Assistant / MQTT integration and Alexa support. I’ve been listening—and I’m excited to say that Basement Beacon now supports both. My goal has always been to make it as easy as possible to keep an eye on your basement in the way that works best for you, and these integrations are a big step in that direction.

We’ve also hit a big milestone: 500+ people have signed up for early access. That’s incredible, and I really appreciate the support and feedback—it’s helping shape the product in a meaningful way.

Right now, I’m focused on dialing things in on the hardware side and working to secure the best possible pricing for all the components. My goal is to make Basement Beacon both reliable and affordable. I’m hoping to share more details on pricing and availability soon.
