A Basement Beacon Update!

Hi everyone,

A quick update on Basement Beacon as we get closer to beta testing!

Before sending out beta units, my business attorney recommended that I first have the appropriate business insurance in place and make sure the patent application has been filed. These steps have added a little time to the schedule, but they’re important to have completed before testing begins.

Once those are in place, I’ll contact the beta testers and get their kits out. I’ll also send several units to our assembler so they can work through the assembly process and help me get a more accurate estimate of production costs.

My plan is to beta test for about a month and, assuming everything goes well, move on to launching the Basement Beacon Kickstarter campaign.
