A quick update (and something I’ve been working on)

Over the past several months, I’ve been working on something that started from a simple concern:

Most basement floods don’t happen all at once—they start silently.

A sump pump fails.
Water rises slowly.
And by the time you notice, the damage is already done.

I built something to solve that.

It’s called Basement Beacon—a smart system that monitors your sump pump, water levels, and basement conditions, and alerts you before there’s a problem.

I just finished putting together a short video to show how it works:

This is still early, but I’m getting ready to launch on Kickstarter soon.
